An error may occur during the installation of CPM "Error = Failed creating root credentials"

An error may occur during the installation of CPM "Error = Failed creating root credentials"

An error  "Failed creating root credentials" may occur during the installation of CPM.
This error "Failed creating root credentials"  is usually the caused by one of the following

1. Result of selecting the option "use existing volume" during a fresh/new installation.

To resolve this do the following:
Please terminate this instance and and bring a new instance online and during the installation select "New Volume"

Note: The "Use existing volume" option can only be used to re-use an existing cpmdata volume from another CPM installation. Using an existing volume is done in order to preserve configuration and backup history.
You must use the "New Volume" option for new installations. This can also occur if you select an incorrect existing volume during the installation or if an IAM role is not attached to the instance.

2. There could be an issue with the CPM logs so please SSH into the CPM instance that is running and use the login cpmuser.
then run this command rm /var/log/cpm/logs/*
Please terminate the instance that the installation failed and then launch a new AMI from the AWS Marketplace and the installation should install successfully.
