Not able to add new backup targets in N2WS policy of a new AWS region.
Issue:
trying to add a backup target, to a policy, from a new AWS region and receiving the following error message:
Failed to get AWS instances
(account: XXXXXXXXX, region: XX-cccccc-1).
Reason: The security token included in the request is invalid
(InvalidClientTokenId).
solution:
newly added regions must be enabled in both AWS accounts.
When you use an N2WS assume role type account, with a region that is disabled by default.
you need to make sure that the region is enabled in both source and target account.
